Beside Still Waters: A mini series inspired by my love of discovering beautiful seashells along the beach and the beautiful symbolism of the ocean, sea, and water weaved into Scripture.

There's a deep sense of peace I feel whenever I’m near the ocean. The vastness of the ocean often reminds me of the immeasurable depth and beauty of God’s great love, and the awe-inspiring mystery of who He is. There is something about being near the water that quiets my mind, calms my spirit, and draws my heart to God.

The image of still waters is such a beautiful picture of God’s presence. Just as water refreshes our bodies, His love and care restore our souls.  Jesus is the Living Water who satisfies the deepest thirsts of our souls. He refreshes what feels dry and restores the parts of our hearts that have been worn down. He invites us to rest in His presence and find peace and contentment in Him.
